2026.10.02 is a big deal!
Reef version 2026.10.02 dropped today! This update brings around 120 additional scoped Yara rules and … wait for it … POAMs! For you DoD/DoW folks, you can now assign findings to a named POAM and track progress and milestone completion. Findings on a POAM will stand out in the master list, and a notification will be sent out when something is overdue. This update also includes some minor CSS / interface fixes and a new custom icon feature for your agents. This will let you get quick visual feedback on which agent is installed on which piece of inventory.

The default will attempt to pull from the uname output:

POAM Implementation
Plan of Action and Milestone (A.K.A POAMs) can be created from any finding provided by the built-in scanners in Reef. Findings attached to a POAM will stand out in the list with a badge identifying the specific named POAM you assigned it to. You can create any number of POAMs to track entire groups of findings in any logical way you see fit. All progress is logged, and overdue items, completion, and other relevant events are integrated into the web UI’s notification system.
